- LATEST ON PIP Implants - January 9th 2012
The UK Government has decided to offer removal of PIP implants on the NHS to only those patients who received PIP implants in NHS hospitals. This will only account for roughly 150 patients out of the estimated 40,000 patients in the UK who received them for cosmetic reasons. The UK Government has suggested that private clinics and hospitals offer the same as the NHS but many of those clinics have closed and the surgeons have retired.
Although we have never sold PIP implants we are trying to help those patients and in collaberation with some private clinics and surgeons are offering free consultation, advice and special arrangements to enable them to have their PIP implants removed.
In the first instance those patients who are worried about their PIP implants should contact us and we can direct them to a surgeon in their area who is willing to help them.
